CamRAW+

Getting started
What iPhone do I need?
CamRAW+ requires iPhone 12 or later and iOS 18.0 or later for full RAW and DNG capture. Manual controls work on all supported models.
How do I shoot in RAW?
Tap the RAW button in the top toolbar — it highlights when active. Photos are saved as DNG files to your Camera Roll and can be opened in Lightroom, Darkroom, or any RAW-compatible editor.
How do I adjust ISO, shutter speed, or white balance?
Tap any value in the bottom control bar — ISO, shutter speed, white balance (K), EV, or AF. The selected value highlights in yellow. Drag the slider left or right to adjust it in real time. Tap anywhere else to deselect.
How do I switch between lenses?
Tap UW, M, or T above the shutter button to switch between ultra-wide, main, and telephoto lenses. Each lens remembers your manual settings independently.
Features
What does HDR mode do?
HDR mode captures multiple exposures and merges them automatically — ideal for high-contrast scenes like bright windows in darker rooms. Works best when your iPhone is steady.
What's the difference between 12 MP and 48 MP?
12 MP uses pixel binning for better low-light performance and faster capture. 48 MP shoots at the sensor's full resolution for maximum detail — best for bright conditions and subjects you plan to crop heavily.
Does CamRAW+ need an internet connection?
No — CamRAW+ works completely offline. No internet connection is required for any feature.
Troubleshooting
The camera isn't showing a live preview
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera and confirm CamRAW+ has permission. If it does, force-quit the app and relaunch. If the issue continues, restart your iPhone.
Photos aren't saving to my Camera Roll
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos, tap CamRAW+, and select "Add Photos Only" or "Full Access". Then try capturing again.
The app crashed or stopped responding
Force-quit CamRAW+ by swiping up from the bottom and swiping the app away. Relaunch. If crashes continue, contact us with your iPhone model and iOS version.
RAW files won't open in my editing app
Make sure your editor (Lightroom, Darkroom, etc.) is up to date and supports Apple DNG format. JPEG-only apps cannot open RAW files.
